James Spooner, President of Spooner Financial Group, is an accomplished financial professional specializing in retirement and estate planning, investment tax and risk management, and education funding. With over 30 years of experience working with other brokerages, in 2019 James established Spooner Financial Group under the umbrella of LPL Financial, giving him the ability to offer a broader array of services and products to address his clients' financial goals. His practical approach to financial services and advisement has made him a solid member of the greater Atlanta business community.

With Business and Marketing Management degrees from Valdosta State University, James Spooner also is a lifelong learner, building his education through industry trainings and certification programs.

He is an avid sports fan and supports local high school athletics programs. He enjoys travel and spends his vacation time at the beach whenever possible. James also has a passion for Golf, competing with others AND himself and is getting better all the time!

James Spooner lives in Monroe, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, with his wife and two sons, both of whom are also avid athletes.
